1. Brush twice, floss once

Processed foods like sugars and white bread have a high amount of starch which encourages bacterial growth. Consume whole foods like fresh vegetables and whole grains to have a healthy teeth. 3. Avoid tobacco and alcohol:
Smoking or using smokeless tobacco increases your chances of getting oral cancer. It causes a reduced flow of saliva which allows bacteria to thrive in your mouth. Similarly, alcohol causes dental erosion, leading to increased wear and tear of your teeth.
4. Replace your toothbrush every 3 months:

5. Visit your dentist at least once a year:
Get your teeth checked up regularly, at least once a year. Regular dental visits will help your dentist diagnose problems at early stages.
