A continuous cough, especially if it’s worsening or includes mucus, can be a sign of pneumonia.

Persistent Cough

Look for unusually fast breathing or difficulty catching their breath . It's a common symptom of pneumonia in children.

Rapid, Shallow Breathing

A fever over 101°F (38.5°C) may indicate an infection. Monitor their temperature closely.

High Fever

If your child seems unusually tired or weak, it may be due to reduced oxygen levels from pneumonia.

A blue tint on lips or nails is a sign of low oxygen, a serious symptom that needs immediate attention.
