Excess oil can make your hair look heavy, flat, and greasy. It reduces the natural bounce and shine of your hair, leaving it limp and dull.

Oily hair tends to attract more dirt, dust, and pollution from the environment. This build-up can make the scalp dirty and increase the risk of dandruff and scalp infections.

Applying too much oil can block the pores on your scalp, preventing it from breathing. This can lead to issues like dandruff, scalp acne, and itching.

Too much oil makes it harder to clean your hair properly. It may require multiple washes to remove the excess oil, which can strip the scalp of its natural oils and cause dryness.

A greasy scalp creates a moist and warm environment, which is ideal for fungal growth. This can lead to issues like scalp odor, itching, and irritation.
