According to a study by Dr. V Mohan, Chief of Diabetes Research, Madras Diabetes Research Foundation, consuming 30 gms of pistachios before breakfast and dinner improved blood sugar and much lower post-meal blood glucose levels.
The same study found that participants consuming 60 grams of pistachios over two meals (30g before breakfast & dinner) showed no weight gain, making it a great option for those managing prediabetes.
