Guava has a very high content of vitamin C and can therefore help deal with a cold or cough. Here's a simple recipe for guava chaat:

2 ripe guavas, 1 small red onion, small cucumber, small tomato, diced, green chili,1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder, black salt to taste, fresh lemon juice to taste.

Wash and dice the guavas, onion, cucumber, and tomato. Chop green chili and coriander leaves.

In a mixing bowl combine the diced guavas, onion, cucumber, tomato, green chili, and coriander leaves.

Add roasted cumin, black salt, black pepper, and fresh lemon juice to the mixture. Adjust the quantities according to your taste preferences.

Gently toss all the ingredients together until well combined. Scoop the guava chaat into serving bowls and enjoy.
