How to make sugarcane juice at home

Sugarcane juice is naturally sweet, super hydrating, and full of nutrients like iron, magnesium, and antioxidants.

While we often enjoy it from roadside stalls, making it at home is more hygienic and fresh.

Fresh sugarcane sticks (peeled and chopped), mint leaves, ginger, lemon juice, black salt, cold water.

Wash the peeled sugarcane sticks thoroughly and chop them into small pieces (around 1-2 inches long).

Prep the Sugarcane

Add the sugarcane pieces into a strong blender. Add ¼ cup cold water to help the blending. Optionally, add ginger and mint for a refreshing taste.

Blend It

 Pour the blended mix through a muslin cloth or fine strainer to extract the juice. Squeeze well to get every drop.

Add a dash of lemon juice and a pinch of black salt if you like. Serve it chilled!
