How to use banana peel water for hair growth

Bananas are great for health, but did you know their peels can promote hair growth too?

Banana peel water is rich in antioxidants, potassium, and natural oils that can strengthen hair roots, reduce scalp inflammation, and promote healthy hair growth. It’s an easy DIY remedy you can try at home.

Take 2–3 fresh banana peels (preferably from ripe bananas), cut them into small pieces, and soak them in 2 cups of water overnight. In the morning, strain the water and pour it into a clean spray bottle for use.

Spray the banana peel water directly onto your scalp and gently massage it in. Leave it on for 30–40 minutes or even overnight if you're comfortable, then rinse it off with a mild shampoo. Repeat this 2–3 times a week for best results.
