Banana peel water is rich in antioxidants, potassium, and natural oils that can strengthen hair roots, reduce scalp inflammation, and promote healthy hair growth. It’s an easy DIY remedy you can try at home.

Take 2–3 fresh banana peels (preferably from ripe bananas), cut them into small pieces, and soak them in 2 cups of water overnight. In the morning, strain the water and pour it into a clean spray bottle for use.

Spray the banana peel water directly onto your scalp and gently massage it in. Leave it on for 30–40 minutes or even overnight if you're comfortable, then rinse it off with a mild shampoo. Repeat this 2–3 times a week for best results.

Banana peels are packed with silica and nutrients that help boost collagen production and improve blood flow to the scalp, both of which are important for hair growth.

You can also mix the water with a few drops of rosemary or tea tree oil for added benefits.
