Consume 15 grams of fast-acting carbohydrates Options include- half a cup of juice, regular soft drink, 1 tablespoon of sugar, honey or syrup, soft sweets, or glucose tablets etc.

Recheck After 15 minutes If it's still low, repeat the 15 grams of carbs. Once stabilized, eat a slow-acting carbohydrate like bread, plain crackers, or low-fat milk.

Avoid high-fat foods (like chocolate, nuts, or peanut butter) as fat slows carbohydrate absorption, making them ineffective for treating hypoglycemia.
