Residents of Assam or adjoining north eastern states undergoing treatment at state government run medical colleges and district hospitals.
No financial assistance under this scheme. All the patients undergoing treatment at state government run medical colleges and district hospitals to get those medicines free of cost which are enlisted in Essential Drug List (EDL), Assam. This facility can also be availed by patients from neighbouring states in NorthEast who are undergoing treatment at above mentioned institution types.
No financial assistance, only free drugs.

The scheme provides coverage for various diseases such as cardiovascular, cancer, kidney disease, neonatal disease, burn and heart related ailments, and burn injuries.
