Introduction
Lung cancer is one of the most common types of cancer that affects humans. There are two types of lung cancers based on tumor cells: small cell lung cancer (SCLC) and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Some NSCLC cancer cells undergo genetic mutations, forming abnormal epidermal growth factor receptor proteins (EGFR). These abnormal proteins help in the growth and progression of cancer to other parts of the body and such cancer is called EGFR+NSCLC.
The Dacoplice 15mg Tablet is a prescription medicine primarily given to treat patients with EGFR+NSCLC that has spread to other parts of the body. It works by slowing or stopping the growth of cancer cells, thus reducing the size of the tumor and relieving symptoms
It is usually taken once daily with or without food, preferably at the same time each day. The dose and duration of the treatment may depend on condition severity and response to the treatment. Follow the doctor’s instructions and do not stop the medication unless advised otherwise. If you vomit or miss a dose, skip the missed dose and continue with the regular schedule.

Q. Are there any serious side effects of Dacoplice 15mg tablets?
Yes, some people may rarely develop serious side effects after taking the Dacoplice 15mg Tablet. These may include interstitial lung disease (ILD, an irreversible lung scarring disease), diarrhea, and persistent allergic skin reactions. However, your doctor may prescribe a locally acting antacid (a medication that neutralizes acid in the stomach) or an H2-receptor antagonist (a class of medicines that reduces acid production). This medicine must be taken at least 6 hours before or 10 hours after taking an H2-receptor antagonist. Ask your doctor to prescribe an antacid that you may take along with this medicine to get the most benefit.
