Cancer of the fallopian tube affects the tissue lining the fallopian tubes. Fallopian tubes are the tube-like structures that connect ovaries to the uterus. Fallopian tube cancer accounts for about 1% of all the malignant conditions affecting women. At times, the abnormal cancerous growth of cells can start near the end closer to ovaries and involve ovaries as well.
