Exercise-induced asthma

Description of Exercise-induced asthma

Exercise-induced asthma is the older term for exercise-induced bronchoconstriction (EIB). It is the condition in which exercise triggers shortness of breath in people with hyperreactive airways. Though it occurs in most people with asthma, the condition may also be seen in people with allergic rhinitis.
