Hygrip 3% Tablet is used in the treatment of melasma. It is a skin-lightening medicine which lightens the darkened skin patches and spots (hyperpigmentation). It helps in reducing the amount of skin-darkening pigment called melanin in the skin.
Before using Hygrip 3% Tablet, apply a very small amount of cream to check for any allergic reactions. You can continue with the treatment if no allergic reaction occurs in 24 hours. To get maximum benefit of the medication, use it at night, before bedtime; if used during daytime avoid prolonged direct sun exposure. When outdoor, used a sunscreen and wear protective clothing on the treated area. Use it regularly and at the same time each day to get the most benefit of the medication. Do not apply on open wound or infected areas of the skin. Do not get it in your eyes, mouth, or inside of your nose. If this happens, rinse with water immediately.

What if you forget to take Hygrip Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Hygrip 3% Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
