How Alprazolam + Omeprazole works
Alprazolam + Omeprazole is a combination of two medicines: Alprazolam and Omeprazole. Alprazolam is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of a chemical messenger (GABA) which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain. Omeprazole is a proton-pump inhibitor which reduces the amount of acid in the stomach which helps relieve indigestion and heartburn.
