Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide + Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Guaifenesin + Ammonium Chloride + Sodium Citrate + Menthol is a combination of six medicines:Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide , Chlorpheniramine Maleate , Guaifenesin , Ammonium Chloride , Sodium Citrate and Menthol. Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain. Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Guaifenesin , Ammonium Chloride and Sodium Citrate help in the removal of mucus (phlegm) from the airways. Menthol produces a sensation of coolness and relieves minor throat irritation.
