How Povidone Iodine + Ornidazole works

Povidone Iodine + Ornidazole is a combination of two medicines: Povidone Iodine and Ornidazole. Povidone Iodine is an antiseptic applied on skin which is infected or is likely to get infected. It slowly releases iodine which kills or prevents the growth of infectious microorganisms. Ornidazole is an antibiotic which kills bacteria and other infectious microorganisms by damaging the DNA.

Common side effects of Povidone Iodine + Ornidazole

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them
