Can I take metoprolol for anxiety?

I have too much ear wax. Used waxpol for 3 days but still wax is there. Any effective alternative? Also i want to know if ear wax hampers hearing? Been waiting for 10 days for your doctor to respond pls remove this service if you cant provide it and dont mislead users
