Accept-XL Tablet is a medicine used to treat arthralgia (joint pain). It helps form soft tissue around the joints, leading to joint repair. It also reduces joint friction and relieves pain and inflammation in conditions such as osteoarthritis.
Accept-XL Tablet may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine. It is best taken with food to prevent an upset stomach. You should take it as per your doctor's advice. Please do not take more or use it longer than recommended.
Using this medicine may cause common side effects, such as nausea, diarrhea, constipation, indigestion, and heartburn. You should let your doctor know if you experience side effects that do not resolve with time or worsen. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways to prevent or reduce them.

How to use Accept-XL Tablet

How Accept-XL Tablet works
Accept-XL Tablet combines two medicines, Aceclofenac and Diacerein, which relieve muscle and joint pain. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Diacerein is a proteoglycan synthesis stimulator that blocks the chemicals that cause inflammation and pain and helps build cartilage (the soft connective tissue in the bones near the joints).

Driving
UNSAFE
Accept-XL Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Accept-XL Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Accept-XL Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
UNSAFE
Accept-XL Tablet is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.
What if you forget to take Accept-XL Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Accept-XL Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
