Product introduction

Amantex Tablet is used alone or in combination with other medicines to treat Parkinson’s disease. It can also be used to treat drug-induced movement disorder. It works by increasing the levels of a chemical called dopamine in the brain, which is important for controlling movement.

Amantex Tablet is also used to prevents and treats influenza infection. The antiviral poperty of the medicine works against the viruses to prevent their and multiplication. Amantex Tablet may be taken with or without food. Take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.

If you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember it. You should finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It is important that this medication is not stopped suddenly without talking to your doctor. This medicine may put you at a higher risk of having seizures, so it is better to talk to your doctor if you have any history of seizures or taking medication for it.

Some common side effects of Amantex Tablet include nausea, dryness in the mouth, constipation, blurred vision, insomnia (difficulty sleeping), hallucinations, peripheral edema and balance disorder (loss of balance). It may initially cause dizziness and lowering of blood pressure while standing, so rise slowly and do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you.

How Amantex Tablet works

Amantex Tablet is a dopamine agonist that treats Parkinson's disease. It works by increasing the amount of dopamine, a chemical messenger in the brain which regulates body movements. It also has an antiviral property. It works against viruses to prevent their growth and multiplication. It also appears to restricts the viruses to release infectious chemicals (viral nucleic acid) to enter into the body. Thus, it prevents and treats influenza infection.
