Product introduction

Anfoe Injection is a medicine used to treat anemia in people with chronic kidney disease and cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. It stimulates the production of red blood cells in the body. Thus, helps increase the red blood cell levels in the body and alleviates anemia associated symptoms.

Anfoe Injection is generally given by a doctor or a nurse. Do not self-administer this medicine at home. The dose and duration will depend on your body weight and the severity of your condition. Get the injection regularly until you complete the dose. Iron supplements both before and during treatment may make this treatment more effective.


 


The most common side effects of taking this medicine include hypertension, headache, fever, nausea, vomiting, and muscle or joint pain. These side effects are most common at the start of treatment but if they persist your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing them. Tell your doctor straight away if you get any serious side effects, including seizures (fits).


 


Before using Anfoe Injection you should tell your doctor if you have uncontrolled high blood pressure, heart disease, or gout (disease of joint pain). You should also tell him/her what other medicines you are taking in case they affect this treatment. The doctor may monitor your blood pressure regularly while on treatment with this medicine. You may also need other regular medical tests to be sure this medicine is not causing harmful effects. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should insult their doctors before using this medicine.

How Anfoe Injection works

Anfoe Injection is a man-made version of natural erythropoietin. It works by stimulating the bone marrow to produce more red blood cells. These cells are then released from the bone marrow into the bloodstream.
