Apriset Kit is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. The most common side effects are constipation, indigestion, headache, tiredness, loss of appetite, and hiccups. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. This medicine can cause dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Apriset Kit is taken alongside other medicines to help stop sickness (nausea and vomiting) after chemotherapy.
Even if you do not feel like eating or drinking, try to sip water regularly to prevent you from becoming lacking in fluid in the body (dehydrated).
If you are taking any contraceptive 'pill' at the same time as this medicine, the effectiveness of the 'pill' can be reduced if you have a bout of being sick (vomiting) which lasts for more than 24 hours. In such a case, ask your doctor for additional contraceptive precautions.
