Atrosure-AC 10/150 Capsule is used for the prevention of heart attack. It is a combination of medicines that prevent clot formation in the blood vessels. It also helps to reduce increased cholesterol and triglycerides levels.
Atrosure-AC 10/150 Capsule should be taken with food regularly at a fixed time each day. You should take it regularly at evenly spaced intervals as per the schedule prescribed by your doctor. Taking it at the same time every day will help you remember to take it. The dose and duration of treatment will depend on what you are being treated for. Atrosure-AC 10/150 Capsule is a combination of three medicines: Aspirin / Acetylsalicylic acid, Atorvastatin and Clopidogrel. Aspirin and Clopidogrel are antiplatelet medicines. They work by preventing the platelets from sticking together and decrease the formation of harmful blood clots. On the other hand, Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medicine that blocks an enzyme which makes cholesterol in the body. Can the use of Atrosure-AC 10/150 Capsule cause dizziness?
Yes, the use of Atrosure-AC 10/150 Capsule can cause dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady or lightheaded) in some patients. If you feel dizzy or lightheaded, it is better to rest for some time and resume once you feel better.
Can the use of Atrosure-AC 10/150 Capsule cause nausea and vomiting?
Yes, the use of Atrosure-AC 10/150 Capsule can cause nausea and vomiting. Taking it with milk, food or with antacids can prevent nausea. Avoid taking fatty or fried foods along with this medication. In case of vomiting, drink plenty of water or other fluids by taking small frequent sips. Talk to your doctor if vomiting persists and you notice signs of dehydration like dark colored and strong-smelling urine and a low frequency of urination.
