Axicold NL Tablet helps in the treatment of common cold symptoms. It relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, and congestion or stuffiness. It also blocks the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain, inflammation, and fever.
Axicold NL Tablet may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor. It may be taken with or without food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. Do not take more or use it for longer than recommended by your doctor.
Using of this medicine may cause some common side effects such as dryness in mouth, headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and restlessness. If any of these side effects bother you or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may help you with ways to reduce or prevent them.
The medicine may not be suitable for everybody. Before taking it, let your doctor know if you have any medical conditions or disorders. How to use Axicold NL Tablet

How Axicold NL Tablet works
Axicold NL Tablet is a combination of four medicines: Nimesulide, Levocetirizine, Phenylephrine and Caffeine which relieve common cold symptoms. Nimesulide is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Levocetirizine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Phenylephrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Caffeine is a stimulant which decreases sleepiness caused by Levocetirizine.

Driving
UNSAFE
Axicold NL Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney
CAUTION
Axicold NL Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Axicold NL Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Axicold NL Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver
UNSAFE
Axicold NL Tablet is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.
What if you forget to take Axicold NL Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Axicold NL Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Avoid applying Vicks VapoRub to babies and toddlers.You should never give children under 4 years of age over-the-counter cough and cold products without checking with your child's doctor. These medicines may harm young children.
