How Colchi Injection works

Colchi 500mg/4mg Injection is a combination of two medicines: Paracetamol and Thiocolchicoside, which relieves pain and relax the muscles. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever. Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant. It works by acting on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve the muscle stiffness or spasm.

However, Colchi 500mg/4mg Injection contains paracetamol which is considered the safest painkiller for kidney disease patients.
Liver
CAUTION
Colchi 500mg/4mg Injection should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Colchi 500mg/4mg Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
However, the use of Colchi 500mg/4mg Injection is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
