Doxeject-MLP Tablet has all active forms of vitamins which help in preventing neural tube defects, pregnancy-related anemia and associated complications of pregnancy due to elevated homocysteine levels. It should be used in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Check the label before use.

The most common side effects of this medicine include dryness in the mouth, constipation, lightheadedness, and drowsiness. If any of these side effects bother you or get worse, you should speak to your doctor. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the side effects.

How Doxeject-MLP Tablet works

Doxeject-MLP Tablet is a combination of four medicines: Doxylamine, Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine), L-Methyl Folate Calcium and Methylcobalamin which treat nausea and vomiting associated with pregnancy. Doxylamine is an antihistamine which works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (histamine), thereby controlling nausea, vomiting, and dizziness. Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) is a form of vitamin B which possesses anti-nausea properties. L-Methyl Folate Calcium and Methylcobalamin provide essential nutrients.

Pregnancy
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Doxeject-MLP Tablet is safe to use during pregnancy. Most studies have shown low or no risk to the developing baby.
Breast feeding
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Doxeject-MLP Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Larger doses or prolonged use of Doxeject-MLP Tablet may cause sleepiness and other effects in the baby
Driving
UNSAFE
Doxeject-MLP Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Doxeject-MLP Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Doxeject-MLP Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

What if you forget to take Doxeject-MLP Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Doxeject-MLP Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
