These may include regular exercise, losing weight, smoking cessation, reducing alcohol intake, and reducing the amount of salt in your diet as advised by your doctor. The most common side effects of this medicine include decreased blood pressure, cough, increased potassium level in blood, fatigue, weakness, and dizziness. Most of these are temporary and resolve with time. Talk to your doctor if any of the side effects bother you or do not go away.
Before taking this medicine, let your doctor know if you have any kidney or liver problems. Pregnant or breastfeeding mothers should also consult their doctor before taking it. Your doctor may check your kidney function, blood pressure, and potassium levels in your blood at regular intervals while you are taking this medicine.

FAQs
Q. What is Envas 2.5 Tablet? What is it used for?
Envas 2.5 Tablet belongs to a group of medicines known as angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors. It relaxes and widens the blood vessels, making it easier for the blood to pass through the vessels. As a result of this, the heart does not have to work more to push the blood. Since the workload on the heart is reduced, it helps to lower the blood pressure and thus reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke. It is also used for the treatment and prevention of congestive heart failure.
Q. Does Envas 2.5 Tablet cause excessive urination? Can it cause kidney damage?
No, Envas 2.5 Tablet does not cause excessive urination (loss of water through urine). The use of Envas 2.5 Tablet may not affect normally functioning kidneys. However, damage to the kidneys may occur when Envas 2.5 Tablet is given with a diuretic (water pill, a medicine that increases the urine output). In such a case, either the diuretic should be discontinued or its dose should be reduced. If you have severe heart failure or your kidneys are already affected then there is a risk of kidney failure. However, timely and appropriate treatment can reverse the damage caused to kidneys.
Q. Can use of Envas 2.5 Tablet affect my liver?

While some may experience unexplained shortness of breath, excessive drowsiness or fatigue, persistent nausea, confusion, pain or pressure in your chest and seizures (fits). These symptoms usually occur if there is substantial water or salt loss prior to starting Envas 2.5 Tablet. Therefore, if you face any such issues contact your doctor who will either advise you to discontinue hydrochlorothiazide or give a lower dose. The doctor may also advise you Envas 2.5 Tablet in very low doses when used in combination with hydrochlorothiazide.
Q. I am taking ibuprofen for arthritis, is it safe to take Envas 2.5 Tablet along with it?
You should avoid taking ibuprofen and Envas 2.5 Tablet together since there is a risk of kidney damage. Also, this combined usage may reduce the effectiveness of Envas 2.5 Tablet. Consult your doctor for an alternative to ibuprofen.
Q. How long does it take for Envas 2.5 Tablet to start working?

Q. What can happen if I suddenly stop taking Envas 2.5 Tablet?
You should not stop taking Envas 2.5 Tablet without consulting your doctor. Doing this can suddenly increase your blood pressure which may cause a risk of heart attack or stroke. If you experience any side effects, talk to your doctor who will prescribe you another medicine.
Q. Is it safe to take Envas 2.5 Tablet for a long time?
