Febrifer-M Tablet may be taken with or without food; however, take it in the dose and duration prescribed by the doctor. Also, continue taking this medicine for as long as it is prescribed even if you feel better because if this medicine is stopped abruptly, the symptoms may return.
It is generally a safe medicine and does not cause any side effects. However, it may cause constipation, stomach cramps, and diarrhea in some people. - Avoid taking antacids 2 hours before or after taking Febrifer-M Tablet as they make it harder for your body to absorb the medicine.
- Let your doctor know if you are taking any other medications like antibiotics, antacids, or medicines for heart disease or bone disorders.
- Drink 6 to 8 full glasses of water daily to help prevent constipation while you are taking this medicine. Do not use a stool softener (laxative) without first asking your doctor.
- Along with taking Febrifer-M Tablet, take a healthy diet, sleep for a minimum 6-7 hours at night, and reduce stress levels.
