Fivasa Cream belongs to a group of medicines called antifungals. It works by stopping the growth of fungus and is used to treat infections of the vagina. It kills fungi by destroying the fungal cell membrane.
Fivasa Cream is for external use only. You should use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It is best to use it at night time for better results. Do not use the medicine for longer than your doctor has told you to and let him or her know if your condition does not improve after 2 to 4 weeks of treatment. The affected area should be clean before using the medicine. You must wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying this medicine. Do not stop using it until you have finished the complete course, even when you feel better.
