Flutivin 0.5mg Respules belongs to a group of medicines called steroids. It is used to prevent and treat asthma. It prevents the cells in the lungs and breathing passages from releasing substances that cause inflammation of the airways. This widens the airways and makes breathing easier.
Flutivin 0.5mg Respules should be use in the dose and duration as directed by your doctor. The effect of this medicine may be noticeable after a few days but will only reach its maximum after a few weeks. This medicine must be used regularly to be effective, so you should continue taking it even if you do not have any symptoms. If you stop taking it, your asthma may get worse.
To get the most benefit from this medicine, you need to make sure you get your inhaler technique right. For normal hygiene, the mouthpiece of the inhaler should be cleaned weekly with a clean, dry tissue or cloth. You should not wash or put any part of the inhaler in water.
