Gatus 60mg/400mg Tablet is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. How to use Gatus Tablet

How Gatus Tablet works
Gatus 60mg/400mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Ambroxol and Gatifloxacin which treat respiratory tract infection associated with excessive mucus (phlegm).
Ambroxol is a mucolytic that thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Gatifloxacin is an antibiotic that kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Addition of Ambroxol enhances the antibacterial effect of Gatifloxacin.

What if you forget to take Gatus Tablet?

Monitor temp. If child has fever place a cool, damp washcloth on your child's forehead. Give your child a lukewarm tub bath or a sponge bath. Give a sponge bath as follows: - ? Use lukewarm water [90?F (32.2?C) to 95?F (35?C)]. Do not use cold water, ice, or rubbing alcohol, which will lower the child's body temperature too quickly. ? Sponge for 20 to 30 minutes. ? Stop if the child starts to shiver. If your child doesn't like the sponge bath or doesn't feel better after the bath, there is no need to give another one. You can use Paracetamol also along with above measures to control fever till you consult Dr. will determine underlying disorders by clinical examination which range from mild conditions to the most serious of bacterial and viral illnesses and will prescribe medicines accordingly.

Inform your doctor if you don't feel better after finishing the full course of treatment. Also, inform him if your symptoms are getting worse while using this medicine.

No, do not stop taking Gatus 60mg/400mg Tablet and complete the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Your symptoms may improve before the infection is completely cured.
What if I miss my dose?
Take Gatus 60mg/400mg Tablet as soon as you remember it. However, do not take it if it's almost time for your next dose. Also, do not take an extra dose to make up for your missed dose.
