Glycine 1.5% Infusion is a sterile, nonpyrogenic aqueous solution that is used as an irrigant. This is used for irrigation during prostate and bladder surgeries and other urology procedures.
Glycine 1.5% Infusion is given under the supervision of a doctor or a nurse during urological surgical procedures. This medicine should not be self-administered at home.
This medicine is usually safe, however, it may cause nausea, drowsiness, stomach upset, and vomiting in some people. Before you receive this medicine, inform the doctor if you have any known allergies to this medicine.
Before the treatment, your doctor may suggest several clinical evaluations and laboratory tests (blood and urine), this is to be done to calculate the dose and to predict the probable side effects of this medicine on your body.
