Ilanew-DSR Capsule is a prescription medicine. It treats gastroesophageal reflux disease (Acid reflux) and peptic ulcer disease. It also manages nausea, vomiting, and indigestion. It reduces excess stomach acid production and prevents the reflux of stomach acid into the food pipe.
Ilanew-DSR Capsule is a combination of two medicines. It is to be taken in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. In case you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember. Finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. A high dose or overdose may have harmful effects on the body.
This medicine is generally well tolerated by patients. Some of the common side effects of this medicine are stomach pain, diarrhea, constipation, and headache. You may be given other medicines along with this medicine depending on what caused the ulcer. You need to keep taking the medicine as it is prescribed for it to be effective, even if the symptoms seem to disappear.

How Ilanew-D Capsule SR works
Ilanew-DSR Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Ilaprazole. Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing the food to move more easily through the stomach. Ilaprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) which works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in the relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

Ilanew-DSR Capsule should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Ilanew-DSR Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
CAUTION
Ilanew-DSR Capsule should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Ilanew-DSR Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Ilanew-DSR Capsule is not recommended in patients with moderate and severe liver disease.

What if you forget to take Ilanew-D Capsule SR?
If you miss a dose of Ilanew-DSR Capsule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
