Imusporin 50mg Capsule
Prescription Required
Product introduction
Imusporin 50mg Capsule is used to prevent the body from rejecting a new organ after a liver, kidney, heart transplant, or bone marrow transplantation. It weakens the immune system so that your body does not attack the new organ. It is also used to treat nephrotic syndrome, severe rheumatoid arthritis, and psoriasis.
The amount of Imusporin 50mg Capsule you take depends on your weight, medical condition, and what you are being treated for. Your doctor will plan the correct dose for you. Do not change the dose without talking to your doctor. It can be taken with or without food. It is better to take it, in the same way, and at the same time every day to get the maximum benefit. Keep taking it for as long as you have been told to, even if you feel well. Stopping treatment may increase the risk of your transplanted organ being rejected.
The most common side effects of this medicine include headache, unusual growth of facial or body hair, high blood pressure, diarrhea, gingival hyperplasia, and tremors. Because it lowers your immune system, you may also catch more infections than usual. Tell your doctor straight away if you develop an infection. For the same reason, you may be more at risk of developing some cancers, particularly of the skin. You should limit your exposure to sunlight.
Before taking this medicine you should tell your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems, high blood pressure, gout (increased uric acid levels in the blood), or epilepsy. Also, tell your doctor about all other medicines you are taking as they may affect the working of the medicine. This medicine should only be used in pregnancy if it is clearly needed. However, it is not recommended while breastfeeding. You will have frequent medical tests while taking this medicine to check your blood pressure, liver and kidney function, and mineral levels. The results of tests may lead to changes in your dose.

Benefits of Imusporin Capsule
In Prevention of organ rejection in transplant patients
Imusporin 50mg Capsule belongs to a group of medicines known as immunosuppressive agents. It lowers your immune response and reduces the chance of your body attacking the transplanted organ. Organ rejection happens when your immune system treats the new organ as an invader and attacks it. This medicine suppresses the immune system and helps your body accept the new organ as if it were your own.
In Treatment of Rheumatoid arthritis
Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune condition where your body’s immune system (which usually fights bacteria and viruses) attacks your body’s own cells. Imusporin 50mg Capsule stops that from happening and can relieve the symptoms of this condition such as pain, swelling, and stiffness in your joints. It can also slow down joint damage, reduce disability, and enable you to be as active for as long as possible. It can take several weeks or months to notice the effect of the medicine. You should continue taking it until your doctor says it is okay to stop using the medicine.
In Treatment of Psoriasis
Imusporin 50mg Capsule can be used to treat severe psoriasis when other treatments have not worked or are not appropriate. Psoriasis happens when skin cells are replaced more quickly than usual. This medicine can improve your skin and reduce the symptoms of rash, redness, and pain. The improvement in the appearance of your skin can boost your confidence and improve your life. Psoriasis is a long-term condition. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as it is prescribed.
In Prevention of graft rejection following Bone marrow transplantation
Imusporin 50mg Capsule suppresses the immune response, reducing the risk of the recipient's immune system attacking and rejecting the transplanted bone marrow. This increases the success rate of the transplant and allows for the restoration of normal blood cell production and immune function.
In Treatment of Nephrotic syndrome
Nephrotic syndrome is a kidney disorder that causes your body to pass too much protein in your urine accompanied with excessive swelling over various parts of the body such as around the eyes and in the feet and ankles. Imusporin 50mg Capsule works by suppressing the immune system thereby reducing inflammation and swelling that occur in nephrotic syndrome. It reduces the protein in the urine and also helps in getting rid of the extra fluid, thereby relieving the swelling over different parts of the body. This helps to restore the normal kidney function and prevents further damage to the kidneys.

How Imusporin Capsule works
Imusporin 50mg Capsule is an immunosuppressant. It works by suppressing your body’s immune response to help accept a newly transplanted organ (e.g., liver, kidney, or heart). In rheumatoid arthritis, this immunosuppressive effect reduces inflammation (swelling) of joints and limits joint damage. In psoriasis, it works by reducing the activity of certain immune cells that cause overproduction of skin cells, thus improving scaling and redness.
