Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which blocks the action of certain chemical messengers responsible for red, itchy, teary eyes. Methylcellulose is a lubricating formulation similar to natural tears. It provides temporary relief from burning and discomfort due to dryness in the eye. Zinc works as an antiseptic to clear bacterial infection in the eyes and relieve irritation.
