Isuvaz 100 Capsule is an antifungal medicine. It is used to treat certain types of fungal infections called invasive aspergillosis and invasive mucormycosis in patients 18 years of age and older. It works by stopping the growth of fungi in the body.
Isuvaz 100 Capsule can be taken with or without food. Take it exactly as your doctor has advised. Swallow the whole capsule, do not chew, crush, dissolve, or open the capsules. Continue to take the medicine until you finish your complete course, even if symptoms disappear after a few days. Stopping it too early may result in a return of the infection.
The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, increased liver enzymes, decreased potassium level in blood, constipation, breathlessness, cough, peripheral edema, and back pain. If any of these side effects persist or worsen, consult with your doctor. In rare cases, Isuvaz 100 Capsule may cause serious liver disease. Get medical help right away if you have any symptoms of liver damage, including persistent nausea/vomiting, loss of appetite, stomach/abdominal pain, yellowing eyes/skin, or dark urine.
