The most common side effects of this medicine include tiredness, nausea, musculoskeletal (bone, muscle or joint) pain, and bleeding. This medicine may reduce the number of blood cells (decrease red blood and white blood cells) in your blood, thereby, increasing the susceptibility to infections. Before taking it, tell your doctor if you have heart disease, liver, or kidney problems or are taking any medicines to treat infections. Many other medicines can affect, or be affected by, this medicine so let your healthcare team know all medications you are using. FAQs
What is the use of Kadcyla 160mg Injection?
Kadcyla 160mg Injection is used to treat HER2-positive breast cancer that has spread to other parts of the body (metastatic breast cancer) after prior treatment with trastuzumab and a taxane.
How is Kadcyla 160mg Injection different?
Kadcyla 160mg Injection is a conjugate of the HER2 directed trastuzumab and a highly toxic microtubule-targeted drug (emtansine).
