Kardine Syrup is a combination medicine used to treat loss of appetite. It is an effective appetite stimulant. It works by reducing the effect of a chemical messenger which regulates appetite.
Kardine Syrup is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. How Kardine Syrup works
Cyproheptadine and tricholine citrate which revives appetite. Cyproheptadine is an appetite stimulant. It works by reducing the effect of serotonin (a chemical messenger) in the hypothalamus, a part of the brain which regulates appetite. Tricholine citrate is a bile acid binding agent. It removes bile acids from the body. The liver then produces more bile acids using cholesterol, as a result, the level of cholesterol in the body is lowered.
