Lidocam Chewable Tablet is a pain relieving medicine. It is used to treat inflammation of gums, mouth ulcers, and mouth infections. It provides relief from pain, discomfort, and swelling by killing and stopping the growth of harmful microorganisms in the mouth.
Lidocam Chewable Tablet may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine. It can be taken with or without food. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor. Your doctor may change the dose and time between doses according to your pain level and your needs. Do not take more or use it for longer than recommended by your doctor.
The medicine is generally safe and does not usually cause any common side effects. However, if you experienced any symptoms which you think is caused by the used of this medicine, you should let your doctor know. How Lidocam Chewable Tablet works
Lidocam Chewable Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Benzoxonium Chloride and Lidocaine. Benzoxonium Chloride is an antiseptic. It suppresses the growth of harmful microorganisms in the mouth and thus helps in preventing infection. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic which temporarily numbs the affected areas in the mouth and decreases pain sensation.

What if you forget to take Lidocam Chewable Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Lidocam Chewable Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
