Lotepred T Eye Drop is a combination medicine used in the treatment of eye infections with inflammation. It kills and stops the growth of bacteria that cause the infection. This way it helps in relieving redness, itching, and swelling caused by the bacteria.
Lotepred T Eye Drop is to be used only in the affected eye. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Wash your hands before and after using the medicine. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping the medicine too early may lead to the infection returning or worsening.
The most common side effects include a burning and stinging sensation immediately after instilling, increased intraocular pressure, and redness in the eye. If the symptoms persist for a longer duration, inform your doctor. In case of accidental contact with your ears, nose, or mouth, immediately rinse it off with water.
