Manilup 20% Infusion is a medicine used in the treatment of acute renal (kidney) failure, cerebral edema (accumulation of excessive fluid in the brain) and to reduce the pressure inside the eyes in a condition called glaucoma.
Manilup 20% Infusion works by removing excess water and also relieves inflammation in the affected areas. It may be used alone or in combination with other medicines. It is administered as an injection under the supervision of a medical professional and should not be self administered. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor and if you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember.
Some common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, headache, and dehydration. You may also notice some injection site reactions such as pain, redness or swelling. However, these are temporary and usually subside on their own after some time. Please consult your doctor if these do not subside or bother you. Regular monitoring by blood tests may be required while using this medicine.
