Metagesic SS Tablet is a pain relieving medicine. It is used to treat symptoms such as mild to moderate pain, fever, swelling, and redness associated with conditions like arthritis, back pain, headache, period pain, toothache, and postoperative pain.

Metagesic SS Tablet may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine. It is best taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for longer duration than recommended by your doctor.

Using this medicine may cause few common side effects such as indigestion, stomach pain, nausea, and heartburn. If you experienced any such side effects that do not resolve with time or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent them.

How Metagesic SS Tablet works

Metagesic SS Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Ibuprofen, Paracetamol and Serratiopeptidase which relieve pain. Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) and Paracetamol is an antipyretic (fever reducer). They work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and fever. Serratiopeptidase is an enzyme which works by breaking down abnormal proteins at the site of inflammation, and promotes healing.

What if you forget to take Metagesic SS Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Metagesic SS Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
