METPURE ST 25MG/10MG TABLET helps to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). It is a combination of two medicines that reduces both blood pressure and cholesterol. Moreover, helps in preventing future heart attack and stroke.
It is advised to take METPURE ST 25MG/10MG TABLET at a fixed time each day to maintain consistent levels of medicine in the blood. Keep taking it for as long as advised by your doctor. How Metpure St Tablet works
METPURE ST 25MG/10MG TABLET is a combination of two medicines: Metoprolol Succinate and Atorvastatin which treat high blood pressure and cholesterol. Metoprolol Succinate is a beta blocker that works specifically on the heart. It slows down the heart rate and relaxes blood vessels to improve blood flow. Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medication which works by blocking an enzyme (HMG-CoA-reductase) that is required in the body to make cholesterol. It thus lowers "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises "good" cholesterol (HDL). Together they reduce the risk of heart diseases.
