Molflu Capsule is the first oral antiviral medication that helps treat mild to moderate COVID-19 in adults. It prevents the virus from multiplying, thereby reducing viral load and disease severity. The drug received emergency use approval from Indian drug regulatory authorities on December 28, 2021.
Molflu Capsule is only indicated in patients with mild to moderate COVID-19 symptoms and who have a high risk of developing severe symptoms. The medicine may cause dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and nausea in some patients. If one experiences any such side effects, discuss them with the doctor. They may help with the treatment or suggest ways to prevent them.
