Who should not use Mone S 0.1% Ointment?
Individuals should not use Mone S 0.1% Ointment if they are allergic to mometasone, salicylic acid, or any ingredient present in it. It is also not to be used where there is an untreated bacterial, viral (e.g., cold sores, chickenpox), fungal, or parasitic skin infection, and in conditions such as perioral dermatitis, rosacea, acne vulgaris, post-vaccination skin reactions, skin atrophy, ulcers, wounds, or stretch marks.
Are there age limits to use Mone S 0.1% Ointment, and can children use it?
Mone S 0.1% Ointment is indicated for adults and adolescents 12 years and older. Safety and effectiveness in children under twelve have not been established, so it should not be used in younger children unless a specialist advises otherwise.
