Moxichor-K Eye Drop

Product introduction

Moxichor-K Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines. It is used in treating infections of the eyes. It stops the growth of the infection-causing microorganisms. This way it relieves pain, itching, inflammation, discomfort, and irritation caused by the infection.

Moxichor-K Eye Drop is strictly advised to use only in the eyes. Use it in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Apply it only on the affected eye. You must wash your hand before administering the medicine. Do not use it more than the recommended dose.

It is generally safe, but it may sometimes cause eye discomfort, irritation, and burning sensation in the eyes on instilling. These effects are mild and go away with time. However, if they stay for a long duration, you should consult the doctor.

Quick tips

  • Your doctor has prescribed Moxichor-K Eye Drop to cure your eye infection and improve your symptoms.
  • Use it twice a day (in the morning and the evening). If your symptoms are particularly severe, your doctor may suggest you use them up to four times a day.
  • To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface. If it does, squeeze out two or three drops straightaway onto some tissue and rinse the tip with saltwater.
  • Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute, immediately after putting the medication. This will prevent the medication from draining out. Try not to blink or rub your eye.
  • Do not wear contact lenses until your infection clears up.
  • Eye infections can cause your eyes to become more sensitive to sunlight than usual. Wearing sunglasses may help to prevent this.
  • Along with using Moxichor-K Eye Drop, give a warm compress to your eyes to get relief from itching and burning sensation.
  • Take care to avoid spreading the infection from one eye to the other, and to other members of your family. Washing your hands regularly (particularly after touching your eyes) and not sharing towels or pillows will help to prevent the infection from spreading.
