Mytiz 100mg/2mg Tablet is a pain-relieving medicine. It is used to treat pain and inflammation in conditions like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. It may also be used to relieve muscle pain, back pain, or pain in the ear and throat. Additionally, it helps treat infections as well.
Mytiz 100mg/2mg Tablet can be taken with or without food. You should take it in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Depending on the severity of your condition, your doctor will decide the precise dose. Do not take more or use it for longer than recommended.
It may cause side effects like increased liver enzymes, vomiting, nausea, and diarrhea in some patients. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. Inform your doctor immediately if any rash or allergic reaction is observed while taking this medicine.
Before taking it, let your doctor know if you have any problems with your liver or kidneys. It may affect the dose or suitability of this medicine. Note: As per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Mytiz 100mg/2mg Tablet is banned for children under 12 years of age.

How Mytiz Tablet works
Mytiz 100mg/2mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Nimesulide and Tinidazole. Nimesulide is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Tinidazole is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria and other infectious microorganisms by damaging their DNA.

Consuming alcohol while taking Mytiz 100mg/2mg Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heart beat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure (Disulfiram reaction).
