Nausifar MPS Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of vomiting. It also promotes the movement of food in the stomach to prevent nausea or vomiting. It also allows easy release of gas from the stomach.
Nausifar MPS Tablet is taken without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.
The most common side effects are dryness in mouth, diarrhea, weakness, restlessness, and tremor. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. It may also cause sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can worsen your sleepiness.
Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding. You should also tell your doctor if you have any kidney diseases so that your doctor can prescribe a suitable dose for you.

Nausifar MPS Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Nausifar MPS Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Nausifar MPS Tablet may cause drowsiness, dizziness, dyskinesia and dystonias which could affect the vision and may interfere with the ability to drive.
Nausifar MPS Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Nausifar MPS Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Nausifar MPS Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Nausifar MPS Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
What if you forget to take Nausifar MPS Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Nausifar MPS Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Quick tips
- Nausifar MPS Tablet helps prevent nausea and vomiting.
- Take your doses about half an hour before meals.
- Drink plenty of water while taking it.
- Do not take Nausifar MPS Tablet at least 2 hours before or after taking other medicines as it may interact with other medicines.
- Dry mouth may occur as a side effect. Frequent mouth rinses, good oral hygiene, increased water intake and sugarless candy may help.
- Do not take it for longer than 7 days without consulting your doctor.
