Nimlacip Cold N FLU Tablet is a medicine used to treat common cold symptoms. It provides relief from allergic symptoms like runny nose, sneezing, watery eyes, and nasal congestion. It also blocks the release of certain chemical that cause pain and inflammation and relieves aches and fever associated with cold.
Nimlacip Cold N FLU Tablet may be taken with or without food. Take it regularly and at the same time each day to get maximum benefits from it. Do not take this medicine more than the recommended dose, a high dose, or overdose may have harmful effects on the body. Prolong use of this medicine may harm your health, do not take it more than the prescribed duration unless your doctor advised you to do so.
It may cause side effects like nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, and diarrhea in some patients. Let your doctor know if any of these side effects bother you. Inform your doctor immediately if any rash or allergic reaction is observed while taking this medicine. Before taking it, tell your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking any other medicines.
Note: As per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Nimlacip Cold N FLU Tablet is banned for children under 12 years of age.

How to use Nimlacip Cold N FLU Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nimlacip Cold N FLU Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Nimlacip Cold N FLU Tablet works
Nimesulide is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever. Phenylephrine is a nasal decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Caffeine is a stimulant which works by blocking the action of certain natural substances (adenosine and phosphodiesterase).

Drink plenty of fluids to replace those lost from sweating and having a runny nose, get plenty of rest, eat healthily ? a low-fat, high-fibre diet is recommended, including plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables. OTC drugs, gargling with salt water and sucking on menthol sweets can help relieve a sore throat and blocked nose, are generally safe for older children and adults to take, but might not be suitable for babies, young children. Avoid applying Vicks VapoRub to babies and toddlers.You should never give children under 4 years of age over-the-counter cough and cold products without checking with your child's doctor. These medicines may harm young children.
