Nimusen Cold Tablet


Product introduction

Nimusen Cold Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat common cold symptoms. It relieves allergy symptoms like a runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, and congestion in the nose. It also relieves aches and fever associated with cold.

Nimusen Cold Tablet may be taken with or without food. Take it regularly and at the same time each day to get maximum benefits from it. Do not take this medicine more than the recommended dose, a high dose, or overdose may have harmful effects on the body. Prolong use of this medicine may harm your health, do not take it more than the prescribed duration unless your doctor advised you to do so.

This medicine is generally well tolerated by patients. However, some patients may experience a few side effects such as stomach upset, nausea, diarrhea. Before taking it, tell your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking any other medicines. Always remember to consult your doctor if you are suffering from any severe stomach, liver, or kidney disease. Immediately consult your doctor if you experience any allergic reactions such as skin rashes, swelling, and itching.


Note: As per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Nimusen Cold Tablet is banned for children under 12 years of age.

This medicine is safe and effective. Nimusen Cold Tablet usually starts to work within a few minutes and the effects can last up to several hours. Take it as prescribed by the doctor. Do not stop using it unless you are advised to by your doctor. Taking this medicine enables you to live your life more freely without worrying so much about things that set off your symptoms.

Side effects of Nimusen Cold Tablet

How to use Nimusen Cold Tablet

How Nimusen Cold Tablet works

Nimusen Cold Tablet is a combination of four medicines: Nimesulide, Phenylephrine, Cetirizine and Caffeine which relieves aches and fever associated with cold. Nimesulide is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Phenylephrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Cetirizine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing.Caffeine is a stimulant which decreases sleepiness caused by Cetirizine.

Quick tips
