Orthopax 50mg/325mg/32.5mg Tablet is a pain relieving medicine. It is used to reduce pain and inflammation in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and osteoarthritis. It may also be used to relieve fever, muscle pain, back pain, toothache, or pain in the ear and throat.

Orthopax 50mg/325mg/32.5mg Tablet should be taken with or without food. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by your doctor.

Some of the common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, indigestion, stomach pain, and loss of appetite. How Orthopax Tablet works

Orthopax 50mg/325mg/32.5mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Diclofenac, Paracetamol and Dextropropoxyphene. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) as well as an antipyretic (fever reducer). Diclofenac is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID). Together, both of them work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain. Dextropropoxyphene is an opioid analgesic ( very strong pain reliever) which works by blocking transmission of pain signals to the brain to lower the pain perception.

Breast feeding

Orthopax 50mg/325mg/32.5mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Even small doses of Orthopax 50mg/325mg/32.5mg Tablet can cause infant sleepiness and decreased/altered brain function.

Orthopax 50mg/325mg/32.5mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Orthopax 50mg/325mg/32.5mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Orthopax 50mg/325mg/32.5mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with end stage kidney disease.

Liver

CAUTION

Orthopax 50mg/325mg/32.5mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Orthopax 50mg/325mg/32.5mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

What if you forget to take Orthopax Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Orthopax 50mg/325mg/32.5mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
